The Location Scout is responsible for finding and securing suitable locations for a film or video production. This includes visiting potential locations, taking photos and videos, and assessing the feasibility of each location in terms of logistics, accessibility, and cost. The location scout must also ensure that the locations they choose are available on the production schedule and obtain any necessary permits and permissions. They may also be responsible for coordinating with local authorities and property owners to ensure that filming can take place smoothly and without any disruptions.
